No Really, It’s Time to Think About Your Christmas Party

It’s only Santa who rests during summer…

Yes ok, we’re in the middle of a sweltering summer. It may seem absurd to discuss Christmas but for the events world, this is standard. Team Activity Group is starting to take bookings for Christmas parties - don’t miss out!

Whether you’ve done without a Christmas party for the past two years, or you’ve endured a watered-down, socially-distant version, it’s finally time to embrace them again in all their glory! And to get booking!

Count on Team Activity Group to give you the festive event you’ve been craving!

Whatever you have in mind for the corporate festive season, you must plan ahead. Many venues and events companies start the preliminary planning of Christmas parties in the summer.

Let’s talk venues

If you’ve already got a date secured and a venue booked, Team Activity Group can do the rest. If not, take a look at our venues. We work with a wide variety of beautiful and unique venues throughout the Thames Valley region (as well as some slightly further afield).

When selecting a venue for your Christmas party, consider the following: guest numbers, location requirements, amenities, budget and whether or not you want outside space.

If you have ideas but you’re unsure what kind of venue would suit, we’re here any time to advise.

Christmas party activities and themes

A good Christmas party has a theme and / or an activity around which the event is based. Here are some examples of what we can offer:

Christmas casino nights

Exciting and exuding the elegance of casinos from the movies, our casino nights are the perfect backdrop to your corporate Christmas party.

We’ll convert your venue into a personalised, luxury casino complete with authentic tables; spotlighting; and experienced, professional staff. It’ll be so Casino Royale that you’ll expect Daniel Craig to appear at any minute.

We recommend casino events for up to 200 guests and we can provide many popular casino games, including blackjack, roulette and poker.

Cocktail masterclasses

Our cocktail-making masterclasses get everyone in the festive spirit, pardon the pun. Don’t drink alcohol? No problem. We have recipes for delicious non-alcoholic cocktails too.

We’ll provide everyone with a cocktail of their own to enjoy first. Then, our talented mixologists spill their secrets and show everyone how to conjure impressive and beautiful drinks.

Guests have the chance to create their own cocktail at the end which is judged by the barmen. Best cocktail wins!

 Compères

Also known as a master of ceremonies, a compère introduces sections of an event. An engaging and funny compère at your work Christmas party will keep everyone’s attention (particularly helpful after the cocktail masterclass) and enable seamless transitions between speeches, awards and dinner.

Game shows

For Christmas parties from anything from 20 to over 400 guests, why not host a game show? These make for hilarious evenings and are great at helping guests bond.

Our game show evenings are led by a presenter who’ll explain the format, lay out the rules, ask the questions and whip groups into a competitive frenzy!

The game show consists of various rounds. There’s inspiration from TV game shows, traditional pub quiz-style rounds and the opportunity to get creative in our play dough round! Guaranteed there won’t be a single straight face in the room by the end of the night.

Take a look at our article here for more ways to enhance your corporate party.

Festive Events

Don’t forget, we also organise and run an array of festive corporate and team-building events in the lead up to Christmas. From collective Santa sleigh builds to wreath-making workshops, we’ve got just the tincture to bring employees out of a winter malaise.
